Interpreter Hiring Policy
From time to time BVID may require the services of an interpreter for a meeting or workshop. The following policy was devised by the membership to handle requests for interperers at BVID functions:
When BVID is notified that an interpreter is needed:
- BVID's certified members in good standing will be notified by email.
- Those interested in the assignment may respond to the Board.
- The board will review the responses and make a decision.
- The selected interpreters will then be notified by the BVID board.
