BVID Board Meeting

Parliamentarian- tried to contact Tom Cox but has not received a response

Old Business:
Fall Workshop:
Presenter: The two best options at this point are Buddy Bauer and Steve Phan. This will be discussed further in the general meeting.
Topic: Steve Phan has suggested “Sign-to-English Interpreting,” “English-to-Sign Interpreting,” or “English-Sign-Transliterating.” Buddy Bauer has suggested “Constructed Speech, Constructed Action,” “Expansion Techniques,” or “Voicing Techniques.”
Registration fee: The registration fee will probably not change for non-members, but Sherri suggests reducing the fees for BVID members.
Brochure: Michael should still have this on his computer. We can change the details as needed.
Video Library:
We still need to get the policy on line. Sherri will talk to Michael about this. (Michael needs to give this to Joyce.) Changes to the policy were discussed, including the addition of a late fee and increasing the length of rental. This will be discussed at the general meeting.
