BVID Board Meeting

August 8, 2002

President Stephanie Garner called the meeting to order at 6:11 PM.

Members present included:
    Stephanie Garner            President
    Barbara Robinson            Treasurer
    Sherri Roberts              Parliamentarian

The President read the minutes form the June 14, 2002 meeting.  Those minutes were approved as read.

Officer Reports:

President had a written report
Treasurer reported a bank balance of $2344.58

Old Business:

·    Sherri Roberts and Alicia Landin will get the BVID web page up before the next meeting.
·    TSID Conference proposals were discussed; a procedure for handling the review of these proposals at the general meeting was discussed.
·    Fall workshop discussion-
o    Diana North will check with Linda Stauffer to see if BVID can be a cluster sight for the RSA grants during the next grant cycle (Oct 1-Sept 30)
o    Possibility of local chapter workshop instead of a large fall workshop in October.
o    Fall workshop will be discussed at the general meeting.
o

New Business:  

o    Parliamentarian will explore the possibility of having one combined board and general meeting.  
o    Next BVID board meeting will be decided at the general BVID meeting.
