· In response to BVID’s inquiry
about becoming a consortium site for the RSA grants, Linda Stauffer’s reply
indicated that this is not possible due to the grant requirements of an
employer ID number. BVID is welcome to secure funds from one of the 10
consortium sites in

· After consulting with Parliamentary experts, it was
determined that board meetings and general membership meetings can run
concurrently as long as two sets of minutes are kept. So, BVID can
hold Board meetings and General Membership meetings concurrently.

· BVID’s recommendation for TSID
Conference 2003 entertainment was discussed. Trix
Bruce seems to be the best choice at this time, but Sherri Roberts will follow
up on additional e-mail recommendations, and other entertainers may be added to
the recommended list. BVID will send a short list of entertainers that
are within the TSID approved budget of $500 to the next TSID board meeting for
their consideration. BVID is not responsible for final contract
development with the entertainers.

have put together a workshop for
o Sherri will submit the paperwork to TCDHH for CEU’s, get the agenda and registration form on-line, and
ask Ginny Sweet to send e-mail reminders to all BVID members for this
workshop. Sherri will also add the workshop to the TSID on-line calendar
and send an e-mail to the TSID list-serve about this workshop.

North) move that BVID allocate a maximum of $20.00 for morning refreshments at
the October 26th workshop. PASSED
o Diana North will ask Phyllis Hodges to take care of the
refreshments since she has done such a superb job in the past.

would be a good idea of the BVID rep to attend the next TSID meeting as the
entertainment issue will be discussed and BVID is making recommendation for
that entertainment.

but due to her pregnancy, she will be unable to travel to most of the TSID
