BVID General Meeting
The Meeting was called to order at

The minutes from the previous meeting were read by the secretary and approved as read.
Reports:
President- written report
Vice President- BVID now has 12 members: 8 regular members, 2 associate members, and 2 chapter members. Paige Abshire’s membership is being processed.
Parliamentarian- The web page has been updated and includes links to workshop, calander, and minutes. We need the previous minutes to post on the site. The constitution and by-laws were reviewed to determine which members are in good standing and can run for office.
Secretary- no report
Treasurer- We have $2341.79 in the bank. We made $123.00 from the workshop with a net profit of $68.00.

Old Business:
October Workshop:
The paperwork for the previous workshop is completed. We had 6 in attendance for the silent lunch and 8 in attendance for the workshop. Overall, the workshop was considered a success and would be a good model for future workshops.
New Business:
Spring Workshop
We will plan the next workshop for February. Suggested presenters and topics include: 1) Peggy Gray presenting Synonym and Signs, a workshop about making proper word choices. 2) Helene Gilbert and Henry Whalen presenting Role-Plays, Interpretive Models and Situations.
MOTION- Sherri Roberts and Kent Roberts move that the workshop committee research presenters, available February dates, subjects, and prices then initiate an email vote. – Motion passed.
Announcements:
Our next meeting is January 14, 2003 at 7:00 p.m. Sherri Roberts will see if BVCOG is available.
