BVID Meeting Minutes 

November 9, 2004

Call to order by the president at 6:37 PM

Quorum established.  Attending the meeting were: 

Kent Roberts	Diana North	Judy Cook
Sherri Roberts	Kathy Johnson

Minutes from the September 21, 2004 meeting will be read at the next meeting.

Reports:

            President- written report

            VP- membership renewal letters have been sent to last year’s members

            Parliamentarian -absent

            Treasurer- bank balance of ~$3100.00, last workshop made a profit of ~$670.

            Secretary- absent

Fall Workshop update:

• The Vocabulary Building Workshop was well attended and profitable. 

Emergency Planning Committee:

• Committee members:  Sherri Roberts, Kent Roberts, Diana North, Ginny Sweet, and Leslie Michaelson
• Committee will began by locating existing plans in other cities

Spring Workshop plans:

• BVID would like to invite Tisssa Peiris from Gallaudet to present a Gestures Workshop sometime in April.
• Kellylynn will be our contact in Washington and will arrange for transportation and housing.  Sherri will contact the presenter and secure a date for the workshop. 

Announcements:

• Kellylynn will be attending Gallaudet University as a visiting student this spring.  Kathy Johnson will fill in as secretary while Kellylynn is out of state.  Have fun, Kellylynn, and thanks, Kathy!
• TSID Conference - April 21-24, 2005 in Austin, TX
• RID Conference - July 10-15, 2005 in San Antonio, TX

• Next BVID meeting will be January 18^th, 2005 at the CS public lilbrary
